Student and Graduate Awards

The ARTP-BTS National Assessments are recognised qualifications that are embedded within the Clinical Physiology degree. They are designed to establish that a candidate satisfies the minimum level of competence expected of a basic practitioner.

There are several awards given out for each national assessment. These are:

Sue Hazard Award

Previously known as the Sally Gough Award (pre-2001), this award is given to the candidate most deserving of an award for their achievements, as nominated by the Higher Education Institutes.

Suzanne Davis Award

This award is given to the candidate who achieves the high grade in the Part 1 Practical Assessment.

John Cotes Award

This award is given to the best overall Part 2 candidate.
