Asthma UK is the charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the 5.2 million people in the UK whose lives are affected by asthma.

There are a wide range of resources for the patient and professional:

  • Patient: Resources for the patient include advice on how to monitor and control your asthma. There are various FAQs, and also Fact Files which give lots of information on coping with asthma. Information is also given for parents of young asthma sufferers.
     
  • Health Professionals: All the information on the site has been extensively researched and is based on the current British Thoracic Society’s Guidelines on the Management of Asthma. This site has been developed by in–house editors working with asthma nurse specialists and a Health Promotion team. Information includes inhaler technique and publications for patient use.
