Clinical Physiologist – Band 7

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to come join our busy Sleep Unit.  HEFT Sleep Centre invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the role of Lead Clinical Physiologist.
The sleep service provides comprehensive diagnostic testing, for a wide range of sleep disorders from our specialist centre at Heartland Hospital.  You will join a multidisciplinary team including consultants, clinical scientist, physiologists and ATO’s.
You will have a Clinical physiology degree or equivalent and 2 year’s post-qualification experience as Band 6 Respiratory/Sleep physiologist and extensive experience in a sleep laboratory. You will be competent in interpretation and reporting of polysomnography and respiratory sleep studies. As a lead Physiologist, you will be expected to oversee the day to day running of the laboratory including the supervision of junior physiologists. Experience of staff management is therefore desirable.  
It is essential to have expert IT skills in managing data and storage via servers.
