This post offers the opportunity to expand your skills and advance your career in respiratory physiology within a large specialist teaching hospital. You will join a forward thinking team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a fully autonomous Clinical Respiratory Physiologist to join our friendly, dedicated team. The successful applicant should have demonstrable technical ability and clinical application. 

You will be required to undertake and interpret a full range of investigations which include full lung function testing, respiratory muscle assessment, capillary blood gases, skin prick allergy testing, bronchial provocation using Mannitol, hypoxic challenge testing and sleep studies. You will need to be flexible and be prepared to work across sites. The post holder will play a key role in helping to further develop the service, including assisting with the implementation of new tests, such as CPET to support clinical need. The post holder will also be required to supervise and train staff and students within the hospital and those visiting on clinical placements.
