  1. Ending tobacco industry sponsorship of the Arts - The Smoke Free Art declaration

    Tobacco companies are using sponsorship of arts organisations as a way to present themselves as responsible corporate citizens. In particular, Japan Tobacco International (Benson and Hedges, Silk cut etc.) are major sponsors of exhibitions at the Royal Academy which is also sponsored by British American Tobacco. JTI is also a major sponsor of the Southbank Centre.
