Full Certificate In Spirometry
Who Is This Aimed At?
The ARTP/BTS Full Certificate in Spirometry has been introduced to give a recognized national qualification for those practitioners who regularly perform Spirometry and interpret the results. This is a level 3, practical competence certificate.
The primary target is:
- nurses (district, practice-based, respiratory nurse specialists)
- physiotherapists (especially respiratory specialists)
- Doctors (general practitioners)
Before undertaking the Full Spirometry certificate, you will need to have undertaken an ARTP Full Spirometry course.
You will need to contact your local ARTP Spirometry Training Centre to register for the two-day training course.
Course costs are set locally by the ARTP Spirometry Training Centre. Some centre also include ARTP certificate registration costs in their course costs, so please check when applying.
The aim of the two day course is to provide delegates with the theoretical and practical knowledge required for the performance and interpretation of Spirometry to the required standard to undertake the ARTP Full Spirometry Certificate.
